What info do you need before I can get a seat quote?

Please email me with the following information:

  1. What year/make/model is your bike?
  2. Do you want leather? Or vinyl?
  3. Are you supplying your factory seat pan that came with the bike, or do you need help to have a custom seat pan made?
  4. Include a photo of your current seat (I do not have time to “just look it up on google”).
  5. Include any reference photos of seats that have the look you want… they are very helpful!
  6. Your ideal deadline: lets work backwards from that to make sure that I can return your seat and get you back on the road as quickly as possible.

Do you supply seat pans?

No. You need to send me your pan, OR find one cheap on ebay or elsewhere, and have it shipped directly to me, so you can keep riding while I work.

OR, we can discuss options where I refer you to a custom pan maker - in this case you will need to visit them directly with your bike.

Do I need a custom seat pan?

If you want a super low profile or a seat shape that is drastically different from the factory seat, you will very likely need a new custom seat pan.

For example, if your bike look looks like this:

...then you need a custom pan.

If you do want a custom pan for the look you want to achieve, I can refer you to one of the makers I work with, either metal or fibreglass; they will quote you themselves for their part.

What colours of leather do you have?

For black leather, I keep two options in stock: one pebbly/glossy, the other smooth/matte. I usually have two brown options you can choose from. I might have some other options as well, I would have to hunt through my leather stash.

If you want to order a specialty leather colour, the overall price will increase as I have to order leather by the entire hide.

How should I bring you my seat?

Please bring just your seat, and note that I do not store bikes. Do not show up on your bike the day that you are dropping off your seat; you cannot store your bike at my shop; I will not be responsible for your bike.

Do you take international orders?

Yes! If you are in the USA, lucky for you the exchange rate is in your favour right now, and seats are usually pretty cheap to ship!

I need to change my appointment.

I am busy, so if you make an appointment with me, please keep it, or inform me ASAP if anything changes with the timeframe we set.

Do I need to bring a deposit?

Yes. I need a 50% deposit up front before I will begin work on your seat.

I haven't heard back from you yet!

I work alone, this is a one woman show, please be patient if you don’t hear back from me right away. I’m fast, and I love the work I do, thank you for keeping me creative!
